We’re proud to launch our fundraising campaign to provide support and supplies to a primary school in Ghana.
At Freight Agency, we strive to give back to those in our network, community and beyond. As a global agency in the freight industry, we pride ourselves on the trusting, long standing relationships we have with several countries around the world. As proud members of the Africa Logistics Network, Freight Agency are committed to improving relationships, communications, and opportunities on the African continent.
As a result, Freight Agency are excited to launch our ‘Supporting Ghana’ campaign – a movement to show support to the children and students at Flagstaff House Basic School, located in Ghana.
A branch of Freight Agency LTD has been situated in Ghana for over 17 years. We’re proud to have Ghana in our network and enhance our representation on the West African continent and become a leading agency in this growing market.
Why it Matters
The cost of standard school supplies in Ghana is often outside the reach of families and schools due to the poverty struggle in disadvantaged communities. Due to the shortage of supplies, education and learning is impended. We want this to change.
This campaign will provide the necessary supplies students and teachers need to provide an education in Flagstaff School. We will be transporting supplies including computers, toys, reading books and whiteboards to the school in order to make a difference.
As a UK based agency, we want to ensure we give back to global partners who positively impact the industry and our international services for our customers.
Our mission is to make a difference to the lives of students and children at Flagstaff House Basic School and recognise the positive impact we can have on disadvantaged communities.
How You Can Help
To help raise these vital funds, Lucy Kinsella, Jessica Bradley and Abigail Wood, employees at Freight Agency, will be taking part in the 5K Colour Run in Sheffield. The whole team at Freight Agency is proud to support the members of staff taking part, and we are looking forward to cheering them on, on Saturday 3rd June. To help raise funds, we’ve set up a Just Giving Page to help reach our goal of £1,000. The money raised will go towards school whiteboards, toys and reading books to better the education at the Primary School.
